Fotorealisme met lokale AI: het kan echt

Stable Diffusion kan beelden genereren die je niet van echte foto's onderscheidt. Maar dan moet je wel weten welke knoppen je moet indrukken: het juiste model, de juiste instellingen en vooral de juiste prompt.

In dit artikel krijg je 40 kopieerbare prompts die zijn geoptimaliseerd voor fotorealisme. Van portretten tot landschappen, van food photography tot architectuur. Elke prompt bevat het verwachte resultaat en een passende negative prompt.

Welk model kies je?

Niet elk Stable Diffusion model is geschikt voor fotorealisme. Hier is de stand van juni 2026:

FLUX.2 dev, het sterkste open-weight model op dit moment. Het 32B-parameter model van Black Forest Labs levert fotorealisme, anatomische nauwkeurigheid (ook handen), betere tekst-in-beeld en lange promptvolging op een niveau dat SD 3.5 overtreft. Vereist 24 GB VRAM voor FP16, of 12-16 GB met GGUF-kwantisatie. Beschikbaar via Hugging Face. Licentie: niet-commercieel.

FLUX.2 [klein] 9B, de compacte variant van FLUX.2, uitgebracht in januari 2026. Draait op 12 GB VRAM en genereert in 4 stappen razendsnel. Iets minder detail dan de volledige dev-versie, maar ver boven SDXL op de meeste fotorealisme-benchmarks. De 4B-variant is Apache 2.0 (commercieel vrij).

SD 3.5 Large, de beste keuze als je bij de Stable Diffusion-familie wilt blijven. Het 8-miljard-parameter model begrijpt natuurlijke taal, heeft betere belichting dan SDXL en produceert scherpere details. Beschikbaar via Hugging Face en vereist minimaal 12 GB VRAM.

SD 3.5 Large Turbo, dezelfde architectuur als Large, maar geoptimaliseerd voor snelheid. Genereert beelden in slechts 4 stappen. Iets minder detail dan de volledige Large, maar perfect voor snel itereren.

SDXL + fine-tuned modellen, modellen als Juggernaut XL v10 zijn in 2026 nog steeds uitstekend voor fotorealisme op 8 GB VRAM. Ze hebben een enorm ecosysteem van LoRA's en ControlNet-modellen op platforms als CivitAI. Als je op een oudere GPU zit, is SDXL je beste vriend.

Tip: SD 3.5 werkt met natuurlijke taal: schrijf je prompt als een beschrijving, niet als een lijst van tags. SDXL reageert beter op een mix van tags en zinnen. FLUX.2 begrijpt lange, gedetailleerde zinnen het beste en heeft geen negatieve prompts nodig.

Tips voor nog betere resultaten

Gebruik cameraspecificaties. Benoem een specifiek cameramerk, lens en focal length. "Shot on Canon EOS R5 with 85mm f/1.4" geeft een fundamenteel ander resultaat dan alleen "photograph". Het model heeft geleerd wat bepaalde lenscombinaties produceren.

Benoem lichtkwaliteit, niet alleen lichtrichting. "Soft diffused window light" is beter dan "light from window". Voeg termen toe als golden hour, overcast, Rembrandt lighting, rim light of practical lighting voor meer controle.

Noem een stijl of fotograaf. Termen als "editorial photography", "National Geographic style" of "Annie Leibovitz portrait" activeren specifieke visuele patronen in het model.

FLUX.2 schrijfstijl verschilt. Bij FLUX.2-modellen schrijf je geen komma-tags maar volledige zinnen: "A woman sits at a cafe table in morning light, her expression thoughtful, shot from eye level with a 50mm lens." Geen negative prompt nodig bij FLUX.2: beschrijf liever wat je wilt, de architectuur filtert de rest zelf.

Gebruik een twee-stappen workflow. Genereer eerst op 1024x1024, selecteer je beste resultaat en upscale daarna naar 1536x1536 of hoger met een denoise van 0.55-0.68. Dit voegt detail toe zonder de compositie te veranderen.

Itereer op seed. Vind je een compositie die je bijna bevalt? Bewaar de seed, pas je prompt aan en genereer opnieuw. Zo verfijn je systematisch zonder elke keer vanaf nul te beginnen.

Welk model is het beste voor fotorealistische beelden?

FLUX.2 dev (32B) levert momenteel de beste fotorealistische resultaten van alle open-weight modellen: uitstekende anatomische nauwkeurigheid, handen en belichting. Als je minder VRAM hebt, is SD 3.5 Large de beste keuze binnen de Stable Diffusion-familie. SDXL-gebaseerde modellen zoals Juggernaut XL v10 zijn nog steeds uitstekend voor wie op 8 GB VRAM zit.

Welke sampler en CFG gebruik ik voor SD 3.5?

Gebruik CFG 3.5-4.5 met de Euler sampler en beta scheduler. Voor SDXL-modellen gebruik je CFG 5-8 met DPM++ 2M Karras. SD 3.5 heeft bewust een lagere CFG nodig dan eerdere modellen.

Hoe prompt ik voor FLUX.2?

FLUX.2 gebruikt een volledig natuurlijke taalstijl, schrijf je prompt als een beschrijving, geen komma-lijstjes met tags. FLUX.2 gebruikt geen traditionele negative prompts; stuur kwaliteit door in de positieve prompt te beschrijven wat je wilt, niet wat je niet wilt.

Waarom zien mijn handen er vervormd uit?

Handen blijven een zwak punt van SD-modellen. Voeg 'deformed hands, extra fingers, fused fingers' toe aan je negative prompt. Gebruik bij voorkeur 1024x1024 of hoger. FLUX.2 presteert aanzienlijk beter op handen dan SD 3.5 of SDXL. Overweeg een inpainting-stap specifiek voor de handen bij SD-modellen.

Moet ik brackets of gewichten gebruiken in mijn prompt?

Bij SDXL kun je (emphasis:1.3) gebruiken om woorden te benadrukken. SD 3.5 werkt beter met natuurlijke taal, zonder brackets of speciale syntax. FLUX.2 begrijpt lange, gedetailleerde beschrijvende zinnen het beste.
